FAQ
-
What areas do you service?
We proudly serve Kitchener, Waterloo, and the surrounding areas. If you’re located outside the city, we’re happy to come to you, a travel fee will be applied.
-
Do you use tools?
Yes. We believe in balanced training where we train the dog in front of us. Every dog learns differently, so our goal is to find the most effective way to communicate clearly and fairly — using the right tools and techniques for your individual dog.
-
When is the best age to train your dog?
Your dog is always learning — whether you intend for it or not — so the sooner, the better. You can start training your puppy as soon as you bring them home, and you can absolutely teach your older dog new, healthy habits too.

Does dog training really work?
You get out what you put in! Think of going to the gym — you won’t see immediate results within the first week, but over time, you’ll definitely see results.
Real progress comes from consistency, showing up every day. As the owner, your role is to apply the instruction and homework we cover together, helping both you and your dog develop new, healthy habits.
After each session, you’ll receive personalized homework to strengthen your skills as the handler and keep your dog progressing between lessons. Think of me as your coach — I’m here to guide you, answer your questions, and help you grow the confidence and clarity your dog needs from you.

How long will it take for my dog to be fully trained?
It depends on how consistent you are with the training exercises and on your dog’s individual learning pace. Some dogs pick things up quickly, while others take a bit more time to progress.
Dog training is lifestyle. Once we get through the program you are require to maintain the skills we teach to see lifelong adjustments. Think of it like learning an instrument, if you don’t keep up with it or practice, you will forget!
